Instrument Rated F.A.Q.’s
What is the accelerated instrument program ?
The accelerated instrument program is an intensive training program designed to help pilots obtain their instrument rating in a shorter period of time. The instrument rating allows pilots to fly in adverse weather conditions and navigate solely by reference to instruments, rather than relying on visual cues outside of the aircraft. If you have zero instrument time, this is an intensive course.
Most students pass their checkride between 7-14 days, and average 6 hours of hood time per day, and includes multi instrument approaches each hour. Program can be modified based on prior experience and logbook.
